Whether you’re on hotmail, gmail or a ‘real’ ISP, you’ll probably find that you can’t send large files. It’s to keep bandwidth freed, but not anymore. Courio.com has managed to create a system where you upload the files to their server in your browser, send someone a link to the file to download and whammo, you’ve sent your large file. They’re just starting up, are UK-based, but it looks great.
Funnily enough, it’s just a case of solving a problem that HEAPS of people have! Sometimes innovation isn’t really that hard…
That would help people, especially in remote areas of Australia where there is no broadband. It is good of you to keep people informed.
